The Netzwoche is the leading Swiss weekly for ICT and e-business. It is published by the
Netzmedien AG which was founded in 2000 as a financially independent company. The Netzmedien
AG is owned by Dr. Heinrich Meyer (managing director) and Thomas Brenzikofer (editor in chief).
In addition to the weekly Netzwoche, the Netzmedien AG publishes extensive compendia on current
IT topics under the serial title "Netzguide". The daily newsletter "Netzticker", the company
directory, as well as the series of studies "Netzreport" complement its information
platform. In collaboration with the branch organization simsa, the Netzmedien AG has brought into
being the "Best of Swiss Web" association which each year awards prices to the best Swiss Internet
projects and organizes the homonymous IT industry event.
